This is your own personal design up to 4800 dpi. thermally printed with an 8 ink machine in-house. This process involves a nearly indestructible layering process, laminated to resists scratches, chemicals and thermal events. Coming in at a combined total of 18 mils, this is everything a shield should be!

This is not a sticker, it is not paint, it isn't a temporary "tattoo", it won't scratch off, it can't be taken off with solvents... in short it won't come off..

This is your custom text or image "branded" into the machine. Taking your notebook personalization to the next level!

This is a real carbon fiber composite material applied to the top of the notebook.

It both looks good, adding a touch of professionalism to those not looking for a "flashy" customization, yet helps protect your system from scratches. This is NOT a vinyl or sticker.

From glow in the dark, reflective, brushed aluminum, or just about anything you can immagine.

Custom cut outs personalize your system to a level that few have seen before.

Review Executioner Small

Killer Notebooks pioneered the custom notebook experience. From humble beginnings of simple carbonfiber looking vinyl, to a "skin" for looks. We moved to the forefront of the industry and kept improving our offerings to what we have today. We understood our customers and how they wanted something that reflected who they were, while our cometition mocked the endeaver as "cheap stickers". Like may great visionaries, on each step of our journey there was always someone there looking over our shoulder trying to mimic the process. Soon our competition started offering "cheap-stickers" too.

These are what we call the "me too" competition.. We did "skins", they did something they thought was the same. They used a vehical sticker known as a "wrap". One of the problems with immitation is that the imitator rarely knows why they are doing it. Their motives are to offer something to compete, rather than an art form to push the limits of what their customers can express about themselves.

If one does not go through the steps to learn and understand the limitations of the different processes employed, they will get a mediocre result. In fact, we found that bringing the process "in-house" improved our quality control and increased our knowledge as well as increased the complexity of the customizations we could offer.

The "me too's" use a 2 mil wrap with a 4 ink process... satisfied with how they looked. There is nothing that protects the notebook or the skin from damage other than extreme care by the user. The problem as we saw it was that this offered little protection and cusomarily displayed air bubbles traped under its surface. People want custom graphics, but they also want something to protect their system.

We never used a 2 mil vinyl even at the beginning with the Gaming Skins, ours were 5 mil. and we still had issues with air bubbles. We went back to the drawing board. Our current Graphic Shields employ an 8 ink process that is printed with environmental resistive ink on a non-elastic material. It is then covered with a protective surface that is 15 mils thick. The result is a graphic surface that is nearly indestructible. Literally a "shield" for your investment.

Brushed Charcoal Aluminum:

This is an aluminum sheet, about the thickness of a business card. It has a brushed finished over a charcoal hard coat. Looks very good and resists scratching to some degree. picture

The "Mirage" paint changes colors when viewed in different light and from different angles. $150 - this is professionally painted offsite and may delay your order.

Same Zatoichi notebook from different angles, notice the K|N insignia branded into the case which after painting becomes extremely subtle and professional looking.

Aluminum Shield Plate - Killer Notebook's Logo: (No longer available)

This is a custom made aircraft aluminum "shield plate" raised a total of 1/4" from the top of the notebook; 1/8" forms a complete shield, covering the stock brushed aluminum cover and back of the LCD, the remaining 1/8" is a  machined 3 dimensional Killer Notebooks Insignia. Anodized 1 of 12 colors, this is the coolest notebook mod available! It is difficult to see in the picture, but the edges flow to the plate like the edge of a knife and all the places where the design ends, like the end of the K and N are "melted" into the plate. If you ran your finger from the plate up say the leg of that K, you would slowly feel it rise over a span of 1/2". It doesn't just start and stop. The top 2 pictures are "phase 1" straight from the fabricator before sanding.

10 hours later you have your knife's edge "melted" finish ooooozing cool.

But, that's not enough. To be "Killer" you have to be so over the top that it is beyond what anyone needs. Here is the Golden foil finished letters and knife handle along with the silver finished blade. Sick.

Aluminum Shield Plate - Custom Logo:

This is a custom design only offered by Killer Notebooks. Same as the shield plate above, but customized to your specifications. These can basically be anything you can think up, we have had actual carbon fiber inlaid into aluminum to create the ultimate personalization. $250+ (depends on complexity) Picture of an actual customer design.
